The publisher of the People's Daily database issued a solemn statement of copyright infringement. It states that the database's exclusive distributor is Oriprobe Information Services. All other versions, including CDs, hard drives, Intranet, or Internet, are pirate copies and infringe the copyright of the publisher. The publisher will not provide renewal or future access to any libraries that use pirate versions.
The publisher reserves the right to take legal action again any infringement activities.
